I made it!!

WOW--what a long day!  I survived, still in one piece (as I sit here barely keeping my eyes open).  I'm so ready for jammies and bed and it's not even 6:00 p.m here.  The hours I kept during break tell me again, why I did that to myself?  Ohh yeah, all you bloggers who keep posting all these great ideas AND pinterest, well, let's face it, she's my new BFF! OHH and  I'm not a spring chicken anymore.  This ole' hen needs her beauty sleep AND energy because my little firsties were quite stirred up today to be back at school.  They missed lil ole me!!  You should see the pictures I got during their inside recess (it was cold here---but where's my stinkin' snow?)  And I'm beginning to think I'm just rambling now, so I will cut this short.

I try to make enrichment homework for some of my kiddos.  I've had parent requests, and my principal likes to work on it with his Kindergarten son (and I like to keep my principal happy, because quite frankly, he's one of the best.  I'm not just saying that in case he ever reads my blog, just keepin' it real)

I made a math and a language arts one this afternoon.  I thought I'd share.  If you like them, and find them useful, leave a comment.  It will let me know whether to post them in a couple weeks when I make them again.

Also, I posted a Making Tens and Ones game HERE and I was hoping for some more feedback.  I am hoping that it makes sense, and will be fun for them. So if ya could check out that post I'd be greatful!

Okay--here's the tic-tac-toe boards. Click the pic to grab a copy.

(not sure why the picture looks so disoriented, the file appears okay)

  1. Thanks for sharing your homework freebie. I unfortunately have to do the exact same homework as my team and HATE it. Thanks for the freebie, I love looking at what others do for homework to have lots of evidence to convince them to change their ways! :)

  2. Wow, thanks for the homework freebie! I love it for a few of my real smarties. The regular homework must be so boring for them. I will definitely use this.

  6. THANKS SO MUCH! I may even use this for those who get done early, my higher kids, IN CLASS!
I think I will send it home too to the lower kids INSTEAD of the homework from our math book...the kids that are low need MORE of this anyway!!!
