Adding 3 Numbers Workstation

So today I was supposed to clean the house (too lazy due to the POURING down rain yesterday)---Ahhh, just draw the curtains and turn off the lights and it looks clean again! :)  So, what did I do instead?????

The picture is a little dark (I told you I turned off the lights!)  It's a poke cake cupcake.......made me think of my mom.  She used to make those Jell-o Poke cakes for a summer treat.  LOVED them.  IF  you want the recipe, click HERE.  The only thing I did differently was use heavy whipping cream in place of the milk--I knew it would make the frosting thicker so I could add the swirl. :)

While I was in my kitchen baking. I was thinking of what skills my kiddos needed to review/continue working on.  Believe it or not---it's adding 3 numbers.  They struggled with this activity last week.  It wasn't a new skill--but some of my firsties are still struggling.

Here is a center packet I created to help review adding 3 numbers. You can click the picture below to grab you a copy.  I hope you and your kiddos enjoy!!

*If the graphics appear funny (like when I click on it, I only see a plaid corner in the top of my cover sheet) if you go ahead and click your print button--it shows up okay---I dunno???
