It's been a few years since I've...Heather, <br />It's been a few years since I've taught first, but I think that it would be an okay 1st or 2nd week activity. I think that because the cards are repetition, they can "read" them. I would just go over the rules, and discuss what the cards say, but that everyone will have a different letter and picture. I think this will be a fun first week activity, however I've never taught 1st before, do you think they will be able to read the cards on their own the first week.
