It's been so long since I've posted a freebie, I feel like it's alright...right? I feel like I'm finally catching a breath---for now...but I'm one of those people who believe that the tree is supposed to stay up until after New Year's Day.....so that means cleaning all over again....Ugh! When will I ever get to sit around for an entire week...hey, I'll take a day that's okay too....doing nothing? Isn't that what break is for? Ohh yeah, I'm a mommy and a teacher---I don't do sitting around all day or my hiney gets tired! But just a whole day on Pinterest would be ....wait for it...............Pin-tastic!!!! Okay, my humor is kinda corny, but did I say I'm a teacher and a mommy? lol
I was thinking of all the things that will be coming up in the next few units at school, so I'm working on patterns with colors, shapes and numbers (as well as skip counting), tens and ones, verbs (past and present tense), long vowels (with silent e), main idea/details, predictions, 3 letter blends, digraphs (ch and tch)---as well as hoping to make some review centers too. WOW--that's a lot! I think I need a
blizzard snow day (and school's not back in session).
I did go ahead and make up some journal prompts. I am hoping to do an animals in winter unit with my kiddos, so some of the prompts revolve around that. You can click the picture below to grab the word bank and prompts.
If you download, would you be so kind
as to leave a comment behind?
