Gingerbread and Freebies

It's hard to believe that I'm working on Gingerbread things for the classroom and making my Christmas baking list for home.  I can't believe how December quickly came around.  As a teacher, I'm ready for Christmas break.  As a mommy, I'm not sure.  I think I have teenagers in little kids bodies.  Whatever happened to kids wanting toys?  My son, who is 6, makes me worry what his teenage years are going to be like with the electronics gadgets that he wants now.  My daughter, is 10 and wants a phone.  Really?  She's 10....when did times change?  I got to get with the times.  I still remember playing with my Cabbage Patch dolls and barbie dolls when I was 10.

Anyway, do you remember my last post of all my goodies I have from TpT?   I said I was set for the Christmas season, and I am.  I love buying things that help me, and of course help my bloggy friends, but there's just something about making things for my classroom.  I love to be able to make things and share with you. I feel I've been lacking in that department. You see, I have this group of "friends" who I spend too much time talking to at night, and the night goes so quickly talking with these people that I forget all about my lil ole blog.  Sooo, I have a freebie in hopes of making up for it! :)

We are working on our Geometry Unit right now.  I made a game to review.  There is a game board and task cards.  If you are already following me on Facebook, I posted it a couple nights ago.
You can click the picture to download it FREE in Google Docs.
I also was looking back on my blog for things I posted last year.  I've grown a bit through the bloggy world.  I have had no clue what I was doing then....and I'm still trying to figure it all out.  If you'd like to see some more freebies, here are a few that we will be doing over the next two weeks.
The above is one of my most pinned and top viewed! :)

I know how to hook y'all up! :)  I do also sell things on TpT.  I've had people ask before if I do, and if not I should.  Yep.  I do!  So, if ya like what you see here, maybe check out what I have over there.   Here are my new Christmas ones.

Reindeer, Reindeer

This is without a doubt one of my favorites!!  I thought my Thanksgiving one was, but I LOVE the cookie graphics and sweets in this set.  It's SOOO ME!!

I just posted this one today.  It is my Gingerbread Unit.  There are a variety of writing responses to go with ANY version of The Gingerbread Man and The Gingerbread Girl.  You will also find various differentiated learning stations, and recording sheets.  You can click the picture above to check it out.

So, am I the only one that still has Christmas shopping?

  2. I love all of your products! I just don't know how you get so much accomplished. I feel like I spend all my time doing lesson plans and grading. We give letter grades to 1st graders do you?

My daughter will be 10 in March, she wants a phone, but it is completely over my budget. I'm happy that she still does play with dolls. I'm getting her an American Girl for her birthday and hopefully taking her to the American Girl store in Dallas for a tea party.

If you are needing some picture sorts for ch and wh to go with Long Shadows, Short Shadows, I found some on education.com. Here is the address for the ch page. http://www.education.com/worksheet/article/the-ch-book/
Sorry, I didn't know how to put the link in.
Hope you have a great week!

  5. Your products are adorable!
My eight year old daughter has asked for a cell phone for the past two years. I keep telling her no. I just can't imagine what she needs with a phone right now. When school is over, she comes to my classroom. Other than the school day, she is with me all the time. She has also asked for an American Girl doll, and I think that is a little more age appropriate.
My twelve year old son wants a pair of Oakley sunglasses, and my six year old daughter wants a Bitty Baby. It's time to put Santa's elves to work! :)
