My 1st grade team has always done ...This is great! My 1st grade team has always done something similar. We create a BIG "train" out of the kids papers in the hallway instead of binding into a book. Our papers are small (half sheet) and say I think I can.... Then the kids glue them to construction paper and cut out wheels.
