In my position, when holidays arise, sometimes the teachers choose to keep their kiddos--not to mention with lunches, field trips and other activities, things tend to get rearranged.
BUT I was always one of those teachers too. I liked having them with me as we were headed to break. I liked doing the fun holiday activities with them too.
So needless to say, it had been a while since I had my kiddos with me. The last time I posted about my Math Intervention group, we were working on using the number line. We physically jumped on the number line.
You can read about that post HERE.
Since it had been a while, I wanted to review with a quick little activity.
Some of you saw this on FB, but, see that little guy in the black shirt?
This was our conversation.
Student: "Mrs. Davis, Thank you!"
Me: "You're welcome, but for what?"
Student: "For this math paper and the work you give us."
SOOO--since he thought the math paper rocked, I thought MAYBE,
just MAYBE, your students would too.
